An original background color key concept from the Don Bluth Studios animated film The Land Before Time (1988). Featuring Cera breaking out of her shell, the painting was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Don Bluth Productions uniquely used these concepts not only to develop the scene's color palette, style, and emotion, but he also used these panels as storyboards to visualize the full story development. Measuring 5.25"x8" overall and with the image area measuring 4.75"x7.75", the background color key concept is in fine condition.
